A bit of bubblegum rock anyone?

So, there you are minding your own business, trying to have a quiet evening of it. Suddenly, this song pops up and won't let you alone. Whining and moaning like an unborn child. And it winds you up so much that the only way to stop its nagging is write it down. But, no...that's not enough! Now it wants words, and then a melody and then it wants to be a proper song like the other ones. Then it wants to be recorded and to be come a real song.

Yeah, so, there will be a bubblegum rock track up on Youtube soon called "Drive-by love" because...that's what it decided. Don't blame me- I relieve myself of all responsibility. If that's what it wants to be called- so be it.

I know, I thought it was trash too, but there you are!!

It's a bit like Rebel Rebel meets Queen Bitch meets Arthur Askey in a pantomime horse costume. I don't know. Decide for yourselves. It's not mine anymore...it's your problem now. I've done my bit. Now you can look after it!

It was another one of those- done in a day- things

so don't get your hopes up too much. But, it was good fun.

There is no video at the moment. I can't do everything you know!

My just chuck some royalty free footage together of something American, just to make it less boring to watch and listen to.

Other news. Still trying to get the book Celtic Rites done, but with music popping up and mugging me the whole time, it's a slow process. But it is being done, little by little.

I am just doing the cover art. It's a hand painted illustration this time I think. The other book covers were done on the computer. But, I quite fancied a self illustrated cover for Celtic Rites. So, that's being done. I may put a shot of it in the blog. It's more a sketch though.

Waiting for rain to be able to film the Bittersweet video. It's gotten warmer now, so we'll just have to wait and as soon as it rains we will be out doing the filming. That'll be fun.
