Do It Right

Autorenbild: Robert StevensRobert Stevens

Do It Right is another older song.

It fitted perfectly to a Dad and Daughter duet as it is about the gaps between

the generations, and how the younger generation is incapable of learning from, or

taking advice from, the older generation and is thus doomed to make the same mistakes. Of course, as all we older folks know, eventually you do get to a point where you understand the advice of your parents, but that is usually too late.

So, the last piece of advice given in the song is the most important-

"enjoy what you're doing and do it again and again and again."

I had a nice idea for a video for this one, as with the others that have now been uploaded, and possibly (one day) they will turn up again with the intended video.

However, I just can't do videos like that anymore at the moment.

Like I say, when the situation changes and I have the necessary wherewith-all, I would like to get back to doing fun videos.

The lyrics are below!!

If you like the song and/or the video please take the ten seconds it takes to LIKE, SHARE, SUBSCRIBE and COMMENT. This helps us out enormously and is FREE! The video can also be found on my website on the music page. You can also follow me/us on the blog where you can also find the lyrics to the track and some more background info:

Do It Right

When I was younger, everything flowed.

And I wish that I'd known what I know. 'Cause everything changes with the time.

And there's no going back. You've got to do it right.

And one generation passes it down.

And the next generation listens and frowns.

'Cause everything changes with the time.

And there's no going back so you've got to do it right.

So listen my children, I want to spare you the pain. Enjoy what you're doing- and do it again and again and again.

'Cause everything changes with the time.

And there's no going back. You've got to do it right.

And everything changes overnight.

And there's no going back so you've got to do it right.
