So, I was sitting about, like you do, and I put the keyboard on. It didn't fit. So, I took it off again and thought, well, I might as well play it instead

So I did and found a nice sequence of chords. Oh, that sounds nice, I thought.

I transferred it guitar and thought I'd keep it as a demo in case I want to use it.

It didn't take long. The next day in fact, early morning, I started writing the lyrics. In about a few hours they were done. I had this bass idea, so I put that on it too and put some nice drum grooves into the DAW.

I wanted a funky and tinny guitar, so I did that first. The more it evolved, the more it made it clear to me that it needed a Bowiesquev vocal.

As it began to get darker, the song not the daylight (this was still early morning), the need for a chunky, heavy guitar started tapping on my shoulder and a mechanical Frippian guitar in that middle section, followed by the lead at the end.

Ok, the video isn't the very best of quality, but what are you going to do in the middle of the night on your own in lock down? I like

the idea though, with the mirroring effect I mean. That wasn't intended at fist. I put it on when all was finished as I thought it fitted to the STRANGer bit.

Hope you enjoy the video and the song.

The StevensStevens song Bittersweet is still on the way. It's the video that needs to be done there, and it will be a tad more complicated than the one for this track.
