Gags, giggles and guffaws.

So, I have spent the last couple of days stuck in the flat in this crappy cold weather, re-reading and rewriting Celtic Rites.
There were quite a few gags and jokes I had forgotten that made me giggle or laugh out loud, which is a good sign.
There were also tearful moments at some of the more tender parts of the happenings.
The story is speeding up and building to the crescendo that will be the finale.
It's already about 300 pages and there is a fair bit to go, but I am sinking back into the events and the characters. Feeling them all come back to life is great. Knowing automatically how each of them will respond to certain situations gives you a sense of being there again. It's good to be home Sollop.
A lot of the events in the village take place in The Badly Slaughtered Duck, the village pub, which gives you an indication of the kind of book it is.
This doesn't mean that other things are not going to be completed.
Bittersweet is still waiting to be finished. The song is already finished, but the video has only just begun. We are waiting for the snow and ice to go, so that we can get out and start filming the rest. We need rain on cobbles for that, so we will just have to wait for the weather to play ball.
It will be shot around the area. So, for those of you who know the area, that will be here in Dahlhausen, in Essen Steele and in parts of Bochum.
The video ideas are becoming more and more difficult to put into reality as they become increasingly extravagant. We are restricted to the time ,the equipment and so on, so we just have to do the best with what we have.
I have no idea when that will be finished, but it will be at some point and I hope it will be worth the wait.
I have the foundation of another track on the go too. No lyrics for it at the moment, but it's a bit funky. It'll be interesting to see where that goes. More news about that as it progresses.
In the meantime, if you are following and enjoying any of this, thanks for any support, help and interest. I and we do this because it is fun and entertaining for us, but it is still work and it is encouraging to know that others are entertained and having fun with it too.
I am not expecting to gain anything from all of this. It is what I feel I need to do. If I were not creatively producing something, there would be precious little in life to keep me going.
You have to find something that you are passionate about and attempt to turn it into a reality, even if it is just writing silly stories that you put on Amazon that no one is going to buy. It doesn't matter if they sell, that isn't the point. The point is following a feeling.
If you are a creative person, you will know that it isn't so much a matter of choice, but a matter of fulfilling an inner need. You cannot not be creative if there is an inner need.
If you feel that inner need then you have to feed it or it will make your life a misery.
Support others who are desperately trying to do this if you can. They bring a little light into the world and you help to share that light around. This empowers others to do the same and so we illuminate the world with wonderful ideas. Thoughts that were hidden and festering in someone's head become real things that we can engage with in the world. Some of those things you will like, and some you won't- that's fine. I don't like every book I have ever read, every song I have ever heard, every film I have ever watched, every picture I have ever looked at, but I can honestly say that every single one of them has given me something, even if it was just the realisation that there are things I don't like. With every thing I engage with I learn little about something, someone else's ideas or view of the world, my own tastes or whatever, but engaging with the ideas of others is never a waste of time or effort.
If you enjoy what we do LIKE, SHARE, SUBSCRIBE and COMMENT.
Sharing it around is probably the most useful thing you can do.
All of that costs you nothing.
Have a great rest of the weekend and a good start to the week. Have fun were possible. Be productive and stay healthy!!
Love Rob and Naomi
