Liverpool

Hiya. So, I have spent the day mixing the song The Pool Of Life, which was a bitch I can tell you.

It has so may instruments. I'm still not totally satisfied (but then I never am). I may have to tweek it (that's a technical term).

The idea really was from Nom. She wanted to write a song about Liverpool and actually started one, but she wasn't chuffed with it.

I started playing with a couple of chords and then chucked down a few words which turned out to be about Liverpool. I ended up thinking I should just write an anthem for the city mentioning places that everyone will know or were dear to me and so it grew.

As I said, we did the vocals on Thursday and I have just finished mixing it now.

So what I think I am going to do is to make a lyrics video for it and put a sneak preview of it here on the blog, though I might still mix it a bit more. So it will only be viewable to those that follow the blog first, and then I'll put it on Youtube for the rest of the plebs :))

But it will just be lyrics. No pictures. We'll do that when we're over next time.

If it all works as planned it should be under this blog. If it doesn't work out tell my parents I love them and I did everything I could to make them proud of me. Put me in an unmarked grave and just think about me every now and again!
