Well, here we are in 2022. I remember watching space 1999 as a kid and working out with my brothers how old we would all be in in 1999, when people would be living on the moon. And here we are in 2022. In 1999 my kid was born and 20 years later here I am singing songs with her and making videos on Youtube.
When she first came and asked if I could show her some chords, after years of me trying to convince her to learn an instrument, I was chuffed to little mintballs- which means I was very pleased in English. Now we spend time together playing music, talking about music, comparing music, writing songs and recording them and making videos.
I feel very privilaged to have such a great daughter, that we get on so well and that we have a common hobby that binds us.
We don't care if the videos get seen, we don't care if the songs are listened to. It is a pleasure to write and create music and to put it out there. It's a pleasure to write songs for people and to give them a little happiness through that. It's a pleasure to see the response to the songs and the videos and to know that others enjoy and appreciate what we do. We only have 60 subscribers on Youtube and 4 on Bitchute, but that doesn't matter either. I am not expecting thousands of subscribers and or to make a living from this. The reason we do this, just as the reason I write the books and do all the other stuff I do, is because I feel the need to be creative. If I never sold a single book or if I never got a single view for a video, it would make no difference. Of course, it is nice and feels good if we do get views, but that is not the driving force behind this.
Nevertheless we are grateful to every single person who listens to our music and watches the videos. As you have seen, some of the videos a hard work. The whole process from recording a song to getting a video done can be quite laborious. It's still a pleasure, if it wasn't we would not do it, but it is still time and effort.
We are appreciative of every view, listen and like.

My year has started, or will be starting, with a new workplace. I have left my old job and am starting in a new place from the beginning of January on. We will continue to make music and videos though.
The whole thing has been made all the more difficult by Covid too. This means getting into places to film stuff is sometimes difficult. We have 3 songs waiting for videos and as well as the usual logistical problems, how to shoot something, getting the right equipment and so on, we also have to contend with when and how to film under these restrictions. We all know the pain in the arse it is by now and, just like you, we wish this was over and done with so we could get back to doing what we do.
This is why the videos recently have been easy things like Live In The Living Room or just me sketching at home.
The songs are what count, to me at least, anyway and now the videos, but it would be great to be able to get out again and do some filming. We have the tracks and we have the ideas- now we just need the freedom!!
So, there are at least 3 tracks that are finished or pretty much and I hope that we can start doing the videos for them in the beginning of this year, especially as I really like the tracks and think they are genuinely good songs.
I still have to finish the book Celtic Rights, which I have been working on this morning, and get that out there on Amazon too- another one for the to do list for this year.
There are no more books as yet in the works, though I do have an idea.
Books are still available, The T-shirts are too and the posters. All of that is on the website.
So, let's hope that 22 is a little more relaxed, that we get the freedoms back that we have lost or were stolen from us, and that life can get back to something resembling normal!
