Hiya.

Well, we did manage to get our poo together and do the video. It was mad and hectic and fun.

Unfortunately, we had to shoot it on an older phone so the quality is a bit naff, which is annoying, but that's life.

It's not to be taken too seriously. It's more of a fun one. And it's an old song, I must have written this about 20 years ago or so, but it seemed to be appropriate for Naomi too, seeing as she is at that age where parents get on your nerves.

Mystery To Me

All these people 'round me piling up their expectations,

wanting that I'm open and I'm free.

How can I ever hope to fill up their insatiation? I'm a mystery to me.

I should try and change myself, I hear it all the time from people,

asking me just what I want to be.

I wish that I could answer questions which eat me like cancer.

I'm a mystery to me.

Don't you be a wrong boy, got to be a strong boy. Eat up all your veg it puts hairs upon your chest. Don't you mess us 'round son, want to be a proud Mum.

Had so many wished when I held you on my breast.

Your Daddy's always worked so hard to keep us up above the water. And now our hopes are pinned on you, though we really wish we'd had a daughter.

All these people 'round me piling up their expectations, wanting that I'm open and I'm free.

How can I ever hope to fill up their insatiation? I'm a mystery to me.

Do your best in school son, don't you be a fool son.

Don't expect that life will hand you things upon a plate.

Grab the time you've got now,

time can give a lot now.

Grab the time you're given son before it's all too late.

You know we worked ourselves so far

out of the mess that we were born in.

And now our hopes are pinned on you, and it hurts to see you falling.

Hurts to see you falling. Hurts to see you falling.

Hurts to see you faaaaaaaallllll.

All these people 'round me piling up their expectations, wanting that I'm open and I'm free. How can I ever hope to fill up their insatiation? I'm a mystery to me. I should try and change myself, I hear it all the time from people, asking me just what I want to be. I wish that I could answer questions which eat me like cancer. I'm a mystery to me.
